Instructions
  1. Wrap the fresh mint leaves in a cheese cloth and tie tightly. You can also use a pitcher with an infuser, if you have one.
  2. Add the mint leaves and lemon to an empty pitcher. Fill it to the top with boiling hot water.
  3. Let sit for at least 30 minutes before enjoying.
Recipe Notes

Serve this tea with ice cubes during the hot summer months. Add the ice after the tea is steeped and cooled, or just refrigerate it before serving. When using fresh mint, wash the leaves in a bowl under cold running water, while they are still on their stems. Swirl them around to get rid of any dirt. Mint should be washed right before use, otherwise the leaves won't fare well.
