Instructions
  1. Toss cabbage and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Let stand for 30 minutes, then rinse and drain.
  3. Squeeze cabbage to remove excess water.
  4. In a different large bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients, except onions. Mix until sugar is dissolved.
  5. Add onions and cabbage, toss until well combined.
  6. Cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes to 3 days.
